Season 1
1. and 2. Dark Knight (1) (Original airdate May 5 and 6, 1992)
Someone is killing homeless people. A museum guard is killed
and a jade Mayan cup, thought to be a cure for vampirism, is
stolen. While investigating, Nick becomes attracted to the
museum curator. Nick suspects LaCroix may be involved in the
killings. This is our first "flying vampire" sighting.
3. For I Have Sinned (Original airdate May 12, 1992)
A religious fanatic is killing women from a local parish. The
parish priest may have some knowledge, but his religious
beliefs prevent him from telling the police. Nick and Schanke
go undercover at the church to try and catch the killer.
Schanke goes to confession.
4. Last Act (Original airdate May 19, 1992)
A doctor has, from all indications, committed suicide, but
Nick is not convinced. An "old friend" of Nick's watches the
sun rise. This causes Nick to rethink his contribution to
society.
5. Dance by the Light of the Moon (Original airdate May 26,
1992)
A friend of Stonetree's is a killer/victim in a double murder.
A beautiful young woman is getting men to commit crimes for
her. Nick is caught in her spell, or is he?
6. Dying To Know You (Original airdate June 9, 1992)
A psychic is enlisted to help find a philanthropist's wife and
daughter. She senses Nick's dark side, but thinks she is going
crazy. To save her sanity, Nick confesses to her that he is a
vampire.
7. False Witness (Original airdate August 4, 1992)
Nick lies about having seen a crime. He becomes the precinct's
hero and the prosecution's star witness. He must then answer
the question of which is more important, telling the truth or
nailing a criminal.
8. Cherry Blossoms (Original airdate August 11, 1992)
Gangster-types open fire on a taxicab full of illegal Chinese
immigrants. An acupuncturist is hiding and treating the only
survivor. When the gangsters show up, Nick saves her, but puts
his own life in danger.
9. I Will Repay (Original airdate September 15, 1992)
Natalie's brother walks into a hostage situation at the
precinct and is gravely wounded. Nick is coerced into
"bringing him across". The results are disastrous for all
concerned.
10. Dead Air (Original airdate September 22, 1992)
A serial killer is calling a radio "shrink" to talk about his
murders. The psychiatrist tries to help Nick and Schanke find
him.
11. Hunters (Original airdate September 29, 1992)
Schanke's former partner is killed and Schanke is next in
line. Nick thinks that the killer may be a cop. Schanke goes
into hiding at the Raven.
12. Dead Issue (Original airdate October 6, 1992)
The wife of the former police commissioner is implicated in,
then absolved of, a murder and Stonetree wants it declared a
dead issue. Nick puts his job in jeopardy by continuing to
investigate.
13. Father Figure (Original airdate October 13, 1992)
A streetwise young girl witnesses a murder and is put in
protective custody. Nick takes her to the loft where the
murderers try to break in.
14. Spin Doctor (Original airdate October 27, 1992)
A mayoral race turns deadly when a reporter, who is
threatening to reveal information detrimental to one of the
candidates, is found dead. Natalie and Schanke let their
political beliefs cloud their judgment.
15. Dying for Fame (Original airdate November 10, 1992)
A dead man is found in the bed of a controversial rock star.
She is tired of life in the fast lane and confesses to the
killing. Nick gives her the freedom she desires.
16. Only the Lonely (Original airdate November 17, 1992)
A serial rapist/murderer is on the loose. Natalie finds a new
boyfriend for her 30th birthday; Nick is jealous, but tries
not to let her know.
17. Unreality TV (Original airdate November 24, 1992)
A TV crew (a la COPS) ride with Nick and Schanke as they track
a killer. Nick is captured on film using his vampiric powers.
The Enforcers come to take care of the situation.
18. Feeding The Beast (Original airdate December 1, 1992)
Members of a 12-step program are being killed. Nick goes
undercover to catch the killer and seeks assistance with his
"addiction" from one of the members.
19. If Looks Could Kill (Original airdate February 9, 1993)
A young woman is killed while attempting to steal cosmetics.
By the time she gets to the morgue, she has aged considerably.
While investigating, Nick finds several young women, who all
work at a spa, are starting to exhibit violent tendencies.
20. Fatal Mistake (Original airdate February 16, 1993)
Stonetree kills one of two suspects in a convenience store
robbery, but he appears to have been unarmed. The other
suspect wants revenge. Nick thinks he is seeing a ghost from
his past.
21. 1966 (Original airdate February 23, 1993)
A gunman, holding Natalie and the rest of the precinct
hostage, wants his brother to be released. Nick is in East
Berlin in 1966 searching for the ancient book of cures, the
Abarrat. He meets a family looking for a way to escape to the
west. They decide to help each other. LaCroix shows up.
22. Love You To Death (Original airdate March 2, 1993)
A model is found dead in the park. Another disappears; she
bears an uncanny resemblance to someone from Nick's past.
Season 2
3. Killer Instict (September 17, 1994)
LaCroix returns to wreak havoc in Nick's life. Nick is framed
for murder; Schanke and Natalie work to prove his innocence
and find the real killer.
24. A Fate Worse Than Death (Original airdate September 24,
1994)
A prostitute is found murdered in a hotel room; her pimp is
the prime suspect. Janette and Nick try to help another
prostitute escape from his control.
25. Stranger Than Fiction (Original airdate October 1, 1994)
An author of vampire books, in town for book-signing tour, is
attacked by a vampire. While protecting her, Nick finds
himself attracted to her.
26, Forward into the Past (Original airdate October 8, 1994)
Nick recognizes the victim of a torture/murder as the
secretary to a woman he helped to disappear shortly after
WWII. He must find her before the killer does. Aristotle
appears in this episode.
27. Hunted (Original airdate October 15, 1994)
Someone wants to escalate the thrills of killing, sees Nick in
action, and considers him to be "the most dangerous game". She
kidnaps Schanke to ensure that Nick will play the game.
28. Faithful Followers (Original airdate October 22, 1994)
Nick goes undercover at a religious cult to investigate a
death. Schanke and Natalie become concerned when he doesn't
maintain contact. Natalie goes in after him.
29. Father's Day (Original airdate October 29, 1994)
The grandson of an aging mobster doesn't want to take over the
family business. His grandfather is afraid that he will turn
"state's evidence" and wants him out of the picture.
30. Undue Process (Original airdate November 5, 1994)
Natalie's goddaughter is kidnapped and murdered. The suspect
is captured, but dies while in Nick and Schanke's custody. The
results of the autopsy report generated by an outside ME do
not add up.
31. Bad Blood (Original airdate November 12, 1994)
An inspector who survived a vampire attack as a child arrives
in Toronto to investigate a series of brutal murders.
32. Can't Run, Can't Hide (Original airdate November 19, 1994)
"The Cleanup Crew", a platoon of soldiers from the Vietnam
War, are being systematically hunted down and killed. A
well-respected youth leader seems to be involved.
33. Capital Offense (Original airdate November 26, 1994)
A convicted axe-murderess has escaped from custody and is
captured in Toronto. Nick believes that she is being framed.
34. Amateur Night (Original airdate January 21, 1995)
An actress wants her films to be more realistic. To get a feel
for real police work, she tags along with Nick and Schanke.
She gets in over her head when she confuses movies with real
life.
35. Beyond The Law (Original airdate January 28, 1995)
Women are being violently murdered and all the clues point to
a man who may have diplomatic immunity.
36. The Fix (Original airdate February 4, 1995)
One of Schanke's detective/bowling buddies commits suicide.
Natalie thinks she may have a cure for Nick, but he becomes
addicted to it and his behavior becomes violent and erratic.
37. Be My Valentine (Original airdate February 11, 1995)
After driving around thinking "about me, about you, about us",
Nick decides to tell Natalie how he feels. However, LaCroix
has been doing some thinking too. He decides that it is time
for Nick to repay an old debt.
38. The Fire Inside (Original airdate February 18, 1995)
A crazed killer wielding a flame-thrower is killing the
homeless on the streets and in the sewers of Toronto. Even
though the flames can destroy him, Nick must confront both the
killer and his fear.
39. Blood Money (Original airdate February 25, 1995)
The financier who controlled disbursements for the DeBrabant
Foundation is murdered. Someone electronically transfers
Nick's fortune out of his account and Nick must find it.
40. Partners Of The Month (Original airdate April 22, 1995)
While Nick and Schanke are investigating the possible murder
of a two-timing husband, Schanke leaves Myra and moves in with
Nick. This creates friction between the two partners and
Schanke goes to the Raven to drown his sorrows.
41. Queen of Harps (Original airdate April 29, 1995)
An antique harp "from before" goes to auction. Nick will stop
at nothing, even breaking the law, to get it.
42. A More Permanent Hell (Original airdate May 6, 1995)
A group of scientists discover that the earth will soon be hit
by a large asteroid. People start to panic, vampires start to
run amok. Natalie asks Nick to bring her across, but he
refuses.
43. The Code (Original airdate May 13, 1995)
Schanke's old childhood friend come to Toronto, promising
Schanke a new job in Scottsdale. Meanwhile Nick and Schanke
are investigating a series of deaths seemingly linked to an
over-the-counter drug.
44. Curiouser and Curiouser (Original airdate May 20, 1995)
After a woman is killed during a robbery at the Raven, Nick
believes that he is responsible. His guilt causes the world
that he knows to be turned topsy-turvy.
45. Near Death (Original airdate July 8, 1995)
A scientist investigating near-death experiences is found
dead. Nick thinks he can use this method to reverse his
decision to become a vampire.
46. Baby, Baby (Original airdate July 15, 1995)
Nick is investigating a death at a steel mill when he
encounters Serena, a woman he mistakenly brought across. She
is trying to become mortal by using a violent co-worker and an
old legend.
47. Close Call (Original airdate July 22, 1995)
Schanke is forced to shoot a suspect after Nick swoops onto
the scene. He goes back to the station where he begins to put
two and two together. He determines that Nick is a vampire and
goes to LaCroix for confirmation.
48. Crazy Love (Original airdate July 29, 1995)
A sexual serial killer has escaped from a mental hospital and
is killing the women that he met at the hospital. Nick tries,
with the aid of a psychiatrist, to get inside the killer's
mind and anticipate his next move.
Season 3
49. Black Buddha (Part 1) (Original airdate September 16,
1995)
A bomb explodes aboard an airplane killing Schanke and Capt.
Cohen. Nick's new partner, Tracy, meets members of the vampire
community.
50. Black Buddha (Part 2) (Original airdate September 23,
1995)
The investigation of the bombing continues, meanwhile Tracy
has met a "normal" man. Nick convinces Vachon that he must
protect Tracy.
51. Outside The Lines (Original airdate September 30, 1995)
A woman is murdered in a nightclub. An undercover cop, who
just happens to be a childhood friend of Tracy, is at the
scene. His investigational tactics are questioned by Nick and
Reese.
52. Blackwing (Original airdate October 7, 1995)
An Indian activist, who may have an important document, is
killed. His granddaughter is wakened on a spiritual level and
decides that she can help Nick.
53. Blind Faith (Original airdate October 14, 1995)
Tracy's former sorority sister is slowly going blind because
of Multiple Sclerosis. While walking home from work one night,
her seeing-eye dog is brought across by a carouche in the
park. Meanwhile Tracy and Nick are tracking a serial rapist
and think that the dog may be involved.
54. My Boyfriend Is A Vampire (Original airdate October 21,
1995)
A series of murders is linked to a syndicated talk show after
a guest alleges that her boyfriend is a vampire. Natalie
watches the show and decides that it is time to give up on
Nick.
55. Hearts Of Darkness (Original airdate October 28, 1995)
A woman wakes up in the bedroom of a murdered man. Tracy and
Nick suspect that a vampire has committed the murder and tried
to frame the woman.
56. Trophy Girl (Original airdate November 4, 1995)
Tracy shoots and kills a suspect; she gets a 3-day leave of
absence. Nick is investigating serial murder/mutilation and
Tracy goes undercover at an escort agency to prove that she
"is a good cop".
57. Let No Man Tear Asunder (Original airdate November 11,
1995)
Healthy people are being murdered and their organs are being
harvested for transplant. Natalie goes into the hospital for a
knee operation.
58. Night In Question (Original airdate November 18, 1995)
Nick is shot in the head and pronounced dead at the hospital.
Natalie and LaCroix must act fast to avert suspicion as Nick
recovers. Nick physically recovers but has amnesia and Natalie
doesn't want to tell him his true nature.
59. Sons Of Belial (Original airdate November 25, 1995)
A woman drives her car off of a bridge. While investigating,
Nick goes to see an exorcist and becomes possessed by a demon.
He asks LaCroix for help.
60. Strings (Original airdate January 13, 1996)
All the people close to a burned out rock singer are being
killed. She is under the care of a therapist who uses
controversial methods of treatment. Tracy's father pulls some
strings of his own to get her transferred to Corporate Crime.
61. Fever (Original airdate January 20, 1996)
A lab rat used in experimental AIDS research escapes when a
doctor is murdered. A deadly, highly contagious illness sweeps
through the vampire community.
62. Dead Of Night (Original airdate January 27, 1996)
A death occurs in an old house. When they go to investigate,
Nick, Natalie, and Tracy are confronted by ghosts from their
past.
63. The Games Vampires Play (Original airdate February 3,
1996)
A video game programmer is killed. Nick thinks that the killer
is leaving him clues while he is playing the game. Tracy and
Reese are not on board with him.
64. The Human Factor (February 10, 1996)
A fire investigator from Montreal is murdered and the
composite looks familiar to Nick. Janette comes to Nick's loft
to ask him to help her then gives him some disturbing news.
65. Avenging Angel (February 17, 1996)
A woman is killed while visiting her daughter at a safe house
for battered women. The daughter accuses her father, who has a
history of abusing his wife and daughter, as the killer.
Tracy's mother comes to visit. Tracy discovers that she has
been drinking and gets upset.
66. Fallen Idol (Original airdate February 24, 1996)
A wrestler is killed and the only witness may be a young
brain-damaged man. Natalie and Nick assume protective custody
of the young man and Natalie tries to improve his brain
functioning by giving him an injection of Nick's blood. He
becomes violent.
67. Jane Doe (Original airdate April 27, 1996)
A white supremacist turned novelist has been released from
prison. He and Reese have history, and Reese believes that the
writer is responsible for several unsolved murders.
68. Francesca (Original airdate May 4, 1996)
Someone is killing artistic people and drinking their blood.
Nick recognizes the MO as that of someone he met and killed
centuries ago. A therapist is concerned about the things one
of her patients is telling her and contacts the police.
69. Ashes To Ashes (Original airdate May 11, 1996)
LaCroix's daughter and master, Divia, returns to take revenge
on him for leaving her imprisoned for almost 2000 years. She
wants to destroy everything and everyone close to LaCroix,
including Nick.
70. Last Knight (Original airdate May 18, 1996)
A psychiatrist friend of Natalie's commits suicide, leaving a
warning to Natalie. LaCroix decides that it is time to move on
and invites Nick to join him. A prisoner takes an officer's
gun and escapes to the locker room. Natalie convinces Nick to
try "Janette's cure" with tragic results.
