When Doctor David Banner is unable to rescue his wife from
their burning car, he begins to search for a way to tap into
the hidden strengths that all humans seem to possess. An
accidental overdose of gamma radiation does something more,
however - it turns him into a huge, green-skinned creature
whenever he gets angry.
David's colleague, Dr. Elaina Marks, is killed in a lab fire
after David turns into the Creature, and reporter Jack McGee
sees it for the first time and assumes - incorrectly - that he
was responsible for the tragedy. David Banner is believed dead
and begins his search for a cure while McGee makes capturing
the Creature his goal.

David discovers his new employer administering a questionable
drug to her crippled stepdaughter, a young heiress he has
befriended. This leads to a stressful situation which prompts
David's metamorphosis into the Creature, who rescues the girl
from one danger after another as hired killers, bloodhounds
and a helicopter pursue them.

After a boxer named Rocky rescues David from muggers, Rocky
gets David a job at his gym. David tries to help Rocky when he
discovers Rocky's (and his) boss is a drug dealer.

melt-down...

he befriends the owner, a Union President's widow, whose

replacement President to endorse his election campaign and he
is willing to go to any lengths necessary to win the election.

possibilities of what the publicity could do for the town, and
set about re-creating their own "monster" to draw in the
tourists. But the scheme ends up endangering Harlan's own
young daughter...

In a follow-up to "Another Path," David visits his friend Li

A new publisher takes over the National Register, and decides
to rid the newspaper of any questionable stories. This new
policy affects Jack McGee's search for the Hulk. Therefore,

*NOTE: Bill Bixby does not appear in this episode, but is
"substituted" with a stunt double for the pre-Hulk-out climax.

David is hired as a stage manager at a carnival, and learns
that the sideshow's mind-reader has been blamed for a series
of misfortunes.

In Atlantic City, FBI agents catch David with contraband
shipments belonging to a gang of thieves, and insist that he
be an informant until the gang is apprehended. David has no
choice but to cooperate with both sides since both are aware
of who he is; the FBI agents know that he is David Banner,
while the elderly woman who leads the gang is aware that he
becomes the Hulk.
